What is Elimora?

Our Mission

Kenya has thousands of qualified, TSC-registered teachers looking for opportunities — and hundreds of private and international schools struggling to find and vet them efficiently. Elimora exists to close that gap.

We built a dedicated hiring marketplace where every teacher on the platform is verified against the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) register before they appear in any search result. Schools get a trusted, searchable directory. Teachers get discovered by schools actively looking for their skills.

Who We Serve

For Schools

Elimora is designed for private and international schools across Kenya — from small academy schools to large international institutions. If your school hires teachers independently (rather than through the TSC public service posting system), Elimora gives you a faster and more reliable way to find qualified candidates.

Schools subscribe for a flat monthly fee of KES 4,500 and get unlimited access to search, shortlist, and contact any verified teacher in the network. There are no placement fees and no per-hire charges — ever.

For Teachers

Elimora is free for teachers to join. Any teacher with a valid TSC registration number can create a profile, list their subjects, counties of availability, experience, and qualifications, and become discoverable to schools actively searching for candidates like them.

TSC verification is handled by the Elimora team. Once verified, your profile is visible to all subscribing schools across Kenya. You receive in-app notifications when a school shortlists you.

How It Works

For Schools

Schools register on Elimora, complete a short verification process, and subscribe to get full platform access. Once subscribed, you can:

• Search teachers by subject combination, county, experience level, and availability
• View detailed teacher profiles including qualifications, CV, and certificates
• Shortlist candidates you want to contact
• Unlock direct contact details (phone and email) for any teacher
• Manage your shortlists and hiring pipeline from your school dashboard

For Teachers

Teachers sign up using their TSC registration number. Once registered, you:

• Build a professional profile with subjects, counties, experience, and documents
• Submit your TSC number for verification by the Elimora team
• Become visible to schools once verification is complete
• Receive notifications when schools shortlist you
• Update your availability and profile at any time

TSC Verification

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is Kenya's government body responsible for registering, recruiting, and managing teachers in public and private schools. TSC registration is a legal requirement for anyone teaching in a Kenyan school.

Elimora verifies every teacher's TSC number before their profile goes live. This means schools never have to worry about unqualified or unregistered applicants — every teacher in the Elimora directory has confirmed TSC credentials.

Coverage

Elimora serves schools and teachers across all 47 counties in Kenya. Teachers can specify multiple counties where they are available to work, and schools can filter searches by county to find local candidates.

Subject coverage spans 80+ subjects across primary and secondary levels, including Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, Humanities, Arts, and technical subjects.

Pricing

Elimora operates on a simple subscription model for schools:

• Cancel anytime — no long-term contracts
• Teachers join for free

We deliberately chose a flat subscription over placement fees because placement fees create misaligned incentives. We want schools to hire the right teacher, not the most expensive one.
