What is Elimora?
Elimora is a Kenyan online platform that connects private and international schools with TSC-verified teachers across all 47 counties. Schools search and contact teachers directly — without placement agents or per-hire fees.
Who is Elimora for?
Elimora is built for two groups: private and international schools in Kenya that hire teachers independently, and TSC-registered teachers looking for opportunities at those schools.
Is Elimora affiliated with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)?
No. Elimora is an independent private platform. We verify teachers against TSC registration records, but we are not part of the TSC or any government body.
For Schools
How do I find TSC-verified teachers in Kenya?
Create a school account on Elimora, subscribe, and use the search tool to filter teachers by subject, county, experience level, and availability. Every teacher in the directory has been TSC-verified before appearing in results.
How much does it cost?
Schools pay a flat subscription of KES 4,500 per month. This covers unlimited searches, shortlisting, and access to direct contact details for any teacher. There are no placement fees or per-hire charges.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your school dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.
How do I contact a teacher?
Once subscribed, you can unlock any teacher's direct contact details — phone number and email — from their profile page. You then contact them directly without going through Elimora.
How long does school registration take?
Creating an account takes under five minutes. Our team reviews new school registrations before granting full access. This usually takes 1-2 business days.
Which counties does Elimora cover?
Elimora covers all 47 counties in Kenya. You can filter teacher searches by any county or combination of counties.
What subjects can I search for?
Elimora covers 80+ subjects across primary and secondary levels — including Sciences, Mathematics, Languages, Humanities, ICT, Arts, and technical subjects.
For Teachers
How do I register as a teacher on Elimora?
Go to elimora.co.ke/signup/teacher and create an account using your email address. You'll then build your profile and submit your TSC number for verification.
Is Elimora free for teachers?
Yes. Teachers join and use Elimora completely free of charge. There are no subscription fees or commissions on any job you get through the platform.
How does TSC verification work?
After you enter your TSC number on your profile, our team verifies it against TSC records. Once verified, your profile becomes visible to subscribing schools. Verification typically takes 1-3 business days.
What happens if my TSC verification fails?
You'll receive an email explaining why verification was unsuccessful. The most common reason is a mismatch between the name on your profile and your TSC registration. You can update your profile and resubmit.
Will I know when a school is interested in me?
Yes. You'll receive an in-app notification when a school shortlists you. Schools contact you directly using the details on your profile.
Can I specify which counties I am available to work in?
Yes. During profile setup you can select one or more counties where you are available. Schools can then filter by county when searching for teachers.
What documents should I upload to my profile?
We recommend uploading your CV, academic transcripts, teaching certificates, and your CBC training certificate if applicable. Complete profiles are more likely to be shortlisted by schools.
Privacy & Data
Who can see my teacher profile?
Your profile is visible to schools that have an active Elimora subscription. Your contact details (phone number and email) are only revealed when a school explicitly unlocks them.
How does Elimora handle my personal data?
Elimora processes personal data in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from your account settings page. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data from the platform within 30 days.
